Step back in time with a Templar Tour through Portugal, and discover the incredible legacy of the Knights Templar, one of the most powerful medieval religious orders.

This journey will take you through cities and towns with deep Templar connections, where history, mystery, and stunning architecture meet.

The tour begins in Tomar, home to the Convent of Christ, a UNESCO World Heritage site. The convent was the headquarters of the Knights Templar in Portugal and is a masterpiece of medieval architecture, blending Romanesque, Gothic, and Manueline styles. Wander through its impressive halls and cloisters, where the Templars once lived and worked, and discover their secret symbols hidden within the walls.

From there, we head to Almourol Castle, a knight’s fortress built on a small island in the Tagus River. Surrounded by stunning natural beauty, this medieval stronghold was once used by the Templars to defend against Moorish invaders and is steeped in legends.

Next, we visit Tomar’s Templar Bridge, an ancient structure that once connected different parts of the region and was crucial for the Templars’ movement and communication.
